Blossom Behavioral Health is a provider of ABA services for children with autism. We believe in a holistic and assent-based approach that seeks to give the child the tools they need to serve them best when navigating the world rather than forcing them to conform to a standard that is not right for them personally.

We take an individualized approach for each child, first seeking to identify their unique potential and then taking slow and gradual steps towards that goal while doing everything in our power to help the child understand to the best of their ability why they are striving towards a certain goal and how it will benefit them in order to make learning as rewarding as possible.

We aspire to use a relationship-based approach in which we first establish ourselves as reinforcers and gradually shift motivation away from external reinforcement and towards social and relationship-based reinforcement. We see the children we work with as equals who have the role of growing and learning while we are in the role of teaching and guiding.

We consider the relationship between the teacher and the learner to be a partnership rather than a hierarchical relationship and take the same approach with families, staff, and other professionals in the child's life.

We are located in Sacramento but serve all surrounding areas, including Sacramento, Yolo, Placer, El Dorado, and Yuba counties.
