Our office has an open door policy and welcomes parents to be with their child during all procedures. To help your child know what to expect and before Dr. Jeff does the first exam and cleaning, an assistant may "tell, show and do" on a stuffed animal. We will do everything we can to put you and your child at ease. We also encourage you to talk to your child about what to expect before coming in. But, please avoid any language that might cause apprehension.

The "One Minute Fluoride Varnish Application" will show you what a knee to knee exam with a one or two year old looks like. Fluoride varnish has been proven to cut the number of cavities in half for babies, toddlers and children at high or moderate risk for developing dental disease.
