Celebrate FEAT's 25th Anniversary at the fifth annual FEAT WALK to be held Saturday, APRIL 21, 2018 at Maidu Community Park during National Autism Awareness Month. From 8am to 9am, check-in at the Registration Booth and pick up your T-shirts for registrants ages 12 and up, and Carnival wristbands for kids under age 12. Relax and enjoy morning refreshments, have your face painted, decorate a cool sun-visor, and cruise by the RAFFLE booth to purchase Tickets and pick out prizes.
Cross the FEAT Walk finish line and celebrate with your child's team at the Spring Carnival following the walk:JUMP Houses, Face Painting, Silly Photos, Games, Food, Raffle and more! Raffle winners are announced at 11am (winners must be present to pick up their prizes). FEAT Walk & Spring Carnival concludes at Noon.

CPR training ensures you're prepared in case an unfortunate emergency occurs. In this training you'll learn the step-by-step processes required to assess and perform CPR on infants (ages 0-1 years) and children (ages 1 to preteen). Note: Participants do not earn a certificate.

Join us for a special storytime for kids with autism and/or sensory disorders featuring books, music, fidget toys, crafts and more! The presenter is the parent of a young man with autism and there will lots of time for parents to network with others. Noise and/or behaviors are never a problem at the library! Join us for a special family movie event for kids with autism and/or sensory disorders. This month: "Despicable Me 3" (rated PG). "Typical" toddlers and preschoolers are welcome too! We'll have healthy snacks, the lights will be slightly up, the sound will be slightly down, and kids don't need to remain seated while enjoying the movie. There will also be lots of fidget toys!

The Fly Brave Foundation presents its 3rd Annual Prom Night for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, ages 14 and over.
The theme this year is Celebrity Prom: You are the star of the show. You can come dressed as your favorite celebrity, in fancy prom attire or in jeans and a t-shirt. Your comfort level is our priority. Come the way you want to.
We will have a photo booth (everyone will receive a picture), nacho bar, beverages, DJ, and karaoke. The cost is $15 for prom stars. Chaperones, such as family members, staff and care givers who are accompanying their star, are free of charge. Limit 3 chaperones per guest.

A Sibling Workshop is a place and time to play games and mingle with friends who "get it" about the good (and sometimes not-so-good) parts of having a sibling with special needs. The Workshops are a place for kids to have fun. They are also facilitated by adult siblings who also "get it".
Lunch is included. Please plan to sign your child in when you drop him or her off.
