Elly Award-winning River City Theatre Company presents Disney’s The Lion King Jr. The performance is 75-minute version of the Broadway Musical performed by 1st through 7th-grade school children from throughout the Sacramento area.

River City Theatre Company is a Children’s musical theatre workshop that has been providing family entertainment by performing musical theatre in Sacramento for the past 27 years. The cast consists of children from throughout the Sacramento area in 1st through 12th grades.

The Mondavi Center Young Artists Competition (YAC), now in its 14th year, supports young artists in the early stages of their careers, providing scholarships to further their musical studies as well as valuable performance opportunities to encourage their artistic growth. This year the competition features the Founders Prize in Vocals to US-residents Ages 18-22, and the Young Artists Prize to California-resident pianists and instrumentalists ages 12-17.
