The Sacramento River Cats will host their annual Mommy & Me Day (weather permitting) at Raley Field. Following the success of previous Mommy & Me Days, this non-ticketed, free event is open to children ages 6-and-under and their parents. There will be no baseball game on this date. Children will enjoy a variety to activities on the outfield of Raley Field including bounce houses, catch on the field, arts and crafts and much more! The Youth Challenge Course (YCC) is a 1-mile obstacle course within Elk Grove Park that contains 7 unique sports challenges created and hosted by community organizations. Whether gymnastics, volleyball, or cheer, there will be plenty of fun in store for them.
Roseville's FREE Exciting Street Fair is every Tuesday in May June and July. A Classic Car Cruise, Family entertainment. Kids Fun Zone, Beer and Margarita Garden, Live Bands, Street Entertainers and over 100 vendors weekly make this event a ton of fun. Come on out and join us!

Cinemark Theatres offers a summer movie program for kids that includes ten weeks of popular G or PG movies for kids. The cost is $1 per person per movie at the door the morning of the program. A ten-week series punch card is available at the theatre box office or online at Cinemark.com for $5, while supplies last, at participating theatres.
June 9, 15, and 22 at 5:30pm. These fun-filled educational evenings will guide you through all that the nighttime Zoo has to offer. These camp-outs are designed for small groups and families of two or more people. This is a perfect opportunity to see animal behaviors you may not have seen before. All aboard the California State Railroad Museum’s popular excursion railroad — the Sacramento Southern Railroad. 2018 marks the 35th consecutive season the excursion trains have been operating in Old Sacramento. Train rides include closed coach cars, open-air gondolas and a first-class observation car pulled by either Granite Rock No. 10 steam locomotive or one of our vintage diesel locomotives from the Museum’s collection.

Join Us for the 5th annual Lunar Lunacy Ride. This fun ride is a signature Sacramento event benefiting local foster youth via CASA Sacramento's Making Memories program. Ride your bike under the moonlight on a 6-mile closed course through Downtown Sacramento. Light up your bike, wear a costume and bring the fun with you!
Festival — Enjoy the pre & post ride festival including live music, food trucks, bounce house, vendor booths, beer garden by Lost Coast Brewing, “Best Lit-Up Bike” and “Best Team” contests, giant jenga and teeter totter, bike rodeo, face painting, bowling alley and more!
Course — 6-mile fully closed course. Sights along the ride include the Capitol, Sacramento River, Old Sac, Raley Field, Crocker Art Museum, the Railyards and Golden 1 Center.
Teams — You can create a new team or join an existing team. Teams must have a minimum of 4 riders and the cost is $35/rider. As part of being a team, each member will receive a custom t-shirt with team name and can compete in the “Best Team” contest the night of the ride.
Light Up Swag — Lights for your bike will be available for purchase at the pre-ride festival and/or at Packet Pickup @ REI the day before the ride.

Welcome the summer season by taking part in International SUN-day. Our friends from the Sacramento Valley Astronomical Society will be on-site with their solar telescopes. These hydrogen alpha scopes allow you to see the sun directly, showing spots and prominences. Visitors will also be able to experience sun-themed planetarium shows at 1pm and 3pm for ages 4 and older, these shows are FREE with admission!
