Capital Dance Project is thrilled to announce our newest production of Sacramento’s first Sensory-Friendly Dance Performance in partnership with the Sacramento Kings and Kings Foundation . This Sensory-Friendly Dance Performance is designed to make everyone, particularly individuals with autism or other sensory related disabilities, feel comfortable and accepted in a theater environment. Traditional theater rules will be relaxed and audience members are welcome to express themselves by getting up, playing with toys, dancing, talking, or singing. The event will feature a dance performance by Capital Dance Project, photo opportunities with the dancers, and place for families to meet, siblings of children with autism to get to know other kids, and individuals with related sensory disabilities to connect with the Sacramento community in a climate of acceptance and understanding.
