This Shakespearean comedy centers on the twins Viola and Sebastian, who are separated in a shipwreck. Viola (who is disguised as a boy) falls in love with Duke Orsino, who in turn is in love with the Countess Olivia. Upon meeting Viola, Countess Olivia falls in love with her thinking she is a man. A hilarious plot filled with mismatched relationships, Twelfth Night for Kids is a great way to expose children to the fun of Shakespeare.
This family-friendly and accessible musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic is performed by STC School of the Arts Pre-Professional Ensemble and Young Professionals Conservatorystudents.
This Pre-Professional Ensemble program serves students ages 7 to 13 and culminates in a full-length production on STC’s stages.
